About David Smith
David Smith holds a PhD in Organisational Psychology from the University of London. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a Fellow of the Institute of Business Consultants, and a Fellow of the UK Market Research Society.
He is a former Chairman of the Market Research Society and a former Vice-President of ESOMAR – the worldwide body for customer insight professionals. He is a visiting Professor at the University of Hertfordshire Business School.
David is the author of several books and numerous papers on customer insight, winning many industry awards. David is a sought-after speaker and coach on evidence-based decision-making and entrepreneurialism.
