Adam Riley and I have been discussing Seymour Papert – the latest in our new series on contemporary polymaths and interdisciplinary thinkers. Papert’s work focused on how increasing collaboration with computers would reshape the quality of our conceptual thinking.
Papert is a great example of a polymathic thinker applying interdisciplinary, diverse creative thinking in order to solve complex problems.
Papert would have been excited to see the way his thinking about a new approach to how we educate young people is now coming to the fore in the AI era.
